71st Lawrence County Christmas Parade "Gingerbread Village"

Description


The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host the 71st Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM in Downtown Lawrenceburg.

This year's theme is "Gingerbread Village," and we're inviting everyone to bring the magic of a holiday village to life! With candy-covered cottages and gingerbread bakeries, let your float capture the charm of a classic Gingerbread Village.

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer—registration is now open!


All entries (except horse riders) must pre-register and be decorated with Christmas-themed décor that incorporates this year's Gingerbread Village theme.


Judging & Prizes

Entries will be judged on creativity, lights, neatness, and use of the 2026 theme: Gingerbread Village.

 - Best of Show – $150
 - Second Place – $100
 - Third Place – $75

Entry Categories & Fees

 - Community Floats – Free (registration still required)
 - Business/Advertising Entries – $45
 - Classic Cars & Specialty Vehicles – $10 Classic cars, antique vehicles, and specialty vehicles are welcome to participate in the parade but must be tastefully decorated to reflect this year's theme, "Gingerbread Village."
 - Horse & ATV Entries – No registration required; simply line up in your designated area on parade day

Parade Rules & Guidelines

 - All floats must reflect the theme and be decorated in Christmas spirit
 - Each entry is limited to two units (e.g., truck and trailer = one entry)
 - No Santa or Mrs. Claus impersonators—Santa will make his grand appearance at the end
 - No undecorated vehicles will be permitted
 - The Chamber reserves the right to deny any entry that does not meet theme guidelines or community standards
 - All entries must follow directions from parade officials and the City of Lawrenceburg

Key Deadlines

 - Registration Deadline: November 20, 2026
 - Late Fee Begins: After November 20, Business/Advertising entries will incur an additional $25
 - Final Deadline: November 27, 2026
 - Rain Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM
