The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host the 68th Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 5:00pm in Downtown Lawrenceburg. This year’s theme is "Christmas Through the Decades". Participants are encouraged to theme their floats and decorations around celebrating "Christmas Through the Decades". We are proud to announce that Loretto Telecom will be the Presenting Sponsor again this year. A special thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Lawrenceburg who helps make our Christmas Parade a success!

The parade’s success hinges on the community’s participation, and we encourage all of our locals to register their float entries today! All parade entries, except horse riders, must pre-register and be decorated with Christmas decorations. The floats will be judged on the use of the 2023 theme, neatness, and the use of lights. The three winning categories are: Best of Show ($150 prize), Second Place ($100 prize), and Third Place ($75 prize). 

Community float entries for the parade are free but you MUST register online. Business and Advertising entries are $45. Car Clubs and Individual Vehicle entries are $10. 

Horses and ATVs that want to participate in the Christmas Parade are welcome, but are not required to register. Simply line up at the designated area on parade day. 

Rules and Regulations: 

• Entry applications will not be accepted if Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce determines an entry to be controversial, unlawful, or inconsistent with the standards, the theme, and the purposes of the Christmas parade. At any time after acceptance, an entry may not be allowed to participate in the Christmas parade if it deviates from the original application or violates any Christmas parade rule or regulation. 
• Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to withdraw any float, any vehicle, any group or any person of which costume, display, decorations, theme or performance does not meet the Christmas parade rules and regulations or conform to the standards of reasonable public taste and fit the parade theme. All entries must observe all applicable rules and regulations and follow instructions from City of Lawrenceburg and parade officials or be banned from the parade. 
• Each entry is limited to two (2) units. A truck and an attached trailer constitutes one (1) entry. 
• Entries MUST be decorated or dressed to reflect the theme of the parade: "Christmas Through the Decades" 
• No undecorated vehicles will be allowed! (There's nothing more boring than watching a bunch of cars driving down the road!) 
• Santa is a special guest and has his own float. No Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus impersonators allowed in or on any parade entry. 
• Application fees are non-refundable for accepted entries. Each entry must pay the appropriate fee.
• Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to accept or decline any entry. All decisions about parade entries made by Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce are final. 

Registration for parade entries will end on November 20th. 

Rain Date: Sunday, December 8th at 5:00 pm 

Applications for parade participation are currently being accepted. A non-refundable entry fee of $45 must be received by November 20th for Business and Advertising vehicle to avoid a $25 late fee. Car Clubs and Individual Vehicle entries are $10. Applications will not be accepted after November 27th.
