About

Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency, opened in Lawrence County, TN in 1998.  Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center specializes in serving child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse and their non-offending family members in the 22nd Judicial District, which includes Lawrence, Giles, Wayne and Maury counties in Southern Middle Tennessee. They are the only State certified Child Advocacy Center within these counties.  Kid’s Place uses a multidisciplinary approach that includes working with the Department of Children’s Services, the District Attorney General’s office, Our Kids to provide forensic medical exams, and law enforcement including local agencies, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Homeland Security.

The services offered by Kid’s Place are free of charge to the families we serve.
